Srixon and ASICS have partnered up to create 2 new golf-specific shoes

ASICS and Srixon's new Gel Course Duo Boa shoes.

Srixon

You may know the ASICS brand for its popular running shoes, but did you know the company has golf shoes, too? ASICS, in partnership with Srixon, has developed two new golf-specific shoes that draw on inspiration from the company’s well-known running shoes.

The new ASICS Gel Course Duo Boa and the Gel Course Glide golf shoes are designed to deliver comfort, flexibility, traction and stability; all of the qualities that golfers are looking for while on the course.

Both options come with ASICS Gel technology, which is located on the heel section of the shoes and provides shock absorption to help with comfort on the course. Their midsoles also feature the company’s FlyteFoam technology that helps make the shoes 55% lighter than industry standard, according to Srixon.

They have a seven-spike system on the soles for increased traction, and they’re waterproof to help golfers deal with inevitable wet conditions. They’re available in three colorways: black/gunmetal, white/peacoat, and peacoat/pure silver.

The Gel Course Glide shoes, on the other hand, utilize a traditional lacing system and they have a spikeless configuration on the sole. They’re water resistant, are made with breathable mesh, and they’re available in five different colorways in men’s and two different colorways in women’s.

Currently available on Srixon’s website, the ASICS Gel Course Duo Boa shoes are selling for $179.99, and the Gel Course Glide shoes are selling for $129.99.
