The 2023 John Deere Classic continues on Friday with the second round at TPC Deere Run in Illinois. You can find full Round 2 tee times for the John Deere Classic at the bottom of this post.

Despite never having won a PGA Tour event, Denny McCarthy was a popular pick to win this week’s John Deere Classic. His solid results so far this season were also good enough to earn him betting-favorite honors.

On Thursday at TPC Deere Run, McCarthy made all of those prognosticators look good. The 30-year-old veteran opened with two quick birdies on his third and fourth holes of the opening round, adding another birdie to close out his first nine at three under. That put him near the top of the leaderboard early.

He’ll try to keep the good play rolling in Round 2 when he tees off at 2:05 p.m. ET on Friday alongside Matt Kuchar and U.S. Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson.

You can stream Friday’s second round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET or watch the action on Golf Channel starting at 4 p.m. ET.
