Eric Cole leads the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial, but he has work to do if he’s going to get his first career PGA Tour victory.
Cole, who shot 63 on Saturday, leads the field by one over Ryan Gerard. J.J. Spaun is two strokes back and several other big names (like Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland) are five off the lead.
“It’s not going to be an easy day tomorrow, I know that from my experience,” Cole said. “I know that it’s going to be difficult, but that’s why I practice really hard and that’s why I try and do everything the way I do so that I could be as prepared for whatever tomorrow brings.”
