Memorial Thursday tee times: What to know
Rory McIlroy has accomplished more than most golfers in history: two Masters victories, six major titles and 30 PGA Tour wins (and counting).
But one thing McIlroy has never done is shake Jack Nicklaus’ hand before hoisting the Memorial trophy at Muirfield Village. The World No. 2 is hoping to change that, and his quest begins Thursday.
So far this season, McIlroy has played only seven PGA Tour events. In that short time, he’s collected three top-10s and one huge victory at Augusta National.
A Signature Event win this week would earn McIlroy $4 million and provide positive momentum heading into the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills later this month.
McIlroy tees off for the opening round at Thursday at 10:25 a.m. ET alongside Justin Thomas.
