Rain (lots of it) and wind have led to soggy and difficult conditions at Oak Hill Country Club on Saturday, and the weather, difficulty of the golf course and stress of a PGA Championship are starting to agitate the field.

Jordan Spieth, who usually has plenty to say while on the golf course but isn’t often throwing around curse words, let off some steam after his tee shot on the par-3 3rd.
“Damn it!” he said. “Hit one good f—— iron shot.”
“I don’t think he liked that one,” an analyst deadpanned.
There was also Jon Rahm, who decided to take out some anger on this greenside mic. This came on the par-3 5th hole after Rahm was upset with a chip. He made bogey.
Rahm wasn’t done. Three holes later, while looking for his ball in the rough around the green, the broadcast overheard him telling a cameraman: “Stop aiming at my face when I’m mad. It’s all you guys do.”
“He got five feet from my face when my ball had ricocheted off a tree and possibly went out of bounds,” Rahm later told ESPN. “It was more about giving myself my space.”
We’re missing a club throw, right?
Taylor Moore, who won the Valspar Championship earlier this year, provided that. He used the reliable two-handed ax-style-fling of a driver off the tee box after he couldn’t find the 16th fairway. Moore shot 78 on Saturday.
You might remember we had some tempers flare on Friday, too, as Tyrrell Hatton and Rahm both criticized two different par-3s at Oak Hill. Fast-forward to Saturday, and Lucas Herbert apparently was not a fan of the 8th green, what his ball did on that green, or both. (He two-putted from 17 feet for par.)
The good news for the field? The rain might let up and come and go for the rest of the day. Oak Hill, however, still has plenty of weekend left to infuriate the best players in the world.
