Though Minnesota Vikings center Garrett Bradbury jokes his dancing skills are probably superior to his golf game at the moment, he absolutely loves to play.

Bradbury grew up playing baseball, but didn’t end up getting into golf until he needed to fill time during the offseason.

“I love everything about it,” Bradbury said of golf on this week’s episode of Subpar. “Being out there with the boys, drinking, not drinking, competing, gambling.”

Bradbury told hosts Colt Knost and Drew Stoltz that he doesn’t think he’s very good, but got his handicap down to a 13 after starting the game relatively recently.

“You’re not the prototype for golf,” Stoltz joked.

In addition to playing as often as he can, Bradbury is also an avid fan of the PGA Tour, and shared who he likes cheering for the most at tournaments.

“I got into it big. Love it,” he said. “I caddied for [Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen] last year in the pro-am [at the WM Phoenix Open]. We were with Brooks [Kopeka]. That was pretty awesome. He’s one of the boys. We played with Billy Horschel this year.”

Bradbury shared that he also has a unique connection to another top player on Tour.

“My wife worked for Under Armour for three years, and she was head of print and pattern design for men’s golf,” Bradbury said. “So like, every polo that Jordan Spieth wore, Carson designed. So I’ve always been like, rotting for Spieth, hoping he wins.”
