This post will be updated as the PGA Championship cut line changes throughout the second round on Friday.

The second round of the 2021 PGA Championship is well underway on Kiawah Island, and as players make their way around the Ocean Course, all eyes will be on the cut line.

The top 70 players and ties will survive to see the weekend at the year’s second major. As of 5:30 p.m. ET, the cut line is projected to come at five over par. The cut line began the afternoon at three over, but with blustery conditions, that number has ballooned as the afternoon has gone on.

Several big names are flirting with that five over number at the moment, including Justin Thomas (five over thru 11), Jason Day (five over thru 36 holes), Jason Day (five over thru 36 holes) and Billy Horschel (five over thru 36 holes). Pre-tournament favorite Rory McIlroy began the day on the cut line, but with four birdies on his day, he’s positioned himself to make the weekend with ease.

Other marquee names in danger of missing the cut (unless they turn things around quickly): Adam Scott (six over), Dustin Johnson (six over), Tommy Fleetwood (seven over) and Max Homa (10 over).
