The 2026 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale is underway in England. But what channel is the Open on? Here’s everything you need to know to watch the 2026 Open action on TV.
What TV channel is the Open on?
NBC and USA will be the TV channels televising the 154th Open Championship this week.
USA will open the coverage on TV with a lengthy telecast of Thursday’s opening round starting at 4 a.m. ET and ending at 3:30 p.m. ET. USA’s coverage for Friday’s second round will be the same as on Thursday. USA will also provide early TV coverage for Saturday’s third and Sunday’s final rounds.
NBC takes over the primary TV coverage on Saturday, kicking off their coverage at 7 a.m. ET. NBC will also provide the primary TV broadcasts for the final round beginning Sunday at 7 a.m. ET.
Some coverage of the 2026 Open Championship will be available exclusively online via Peacock, including early coverage of the first and second rounds starting at 1:30 a.m. ET Thursday and Friday.
