Scottie Scheffler is having a nearly unprecedented run on the PGA Tour this season.

The 25-year-old not only has four high-profile wins on his resume (the WM Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer Invitational, WGC-Dell Match Play and the Masters), he also has three runner-up finishes (including his second-place finish at the U.S. Open on Sunday), and a total of nine top 10s and 14 top 25s in 17 events.

Given the frequent purse increases at the game’s biggest tournaments this season, that means that Scheffler has also been cashing in in a big way.

The eye-popping total for his on-course achievements since October? An incredible $12,896,849! (!!!)

That sum breaks the PGA Tour season-long money record (not inclusive of bonuses) held by Jordan Spieth, who earned $12,030,465 during the 2014-15 season with two majors and a total of five wins.

But here’s the crazy part — there are still 10 tournaments remaining on this season’s PGA Tour schedule, including a major (next month’s Open Championship) and the ultra-lucrative FedEx Cup playoff events. Even if Scheffler only plays in a handful of those, judging by his performance pattern over this past season, he can probably be expected to bank quite a bit more, thoroughly shattering Spieth’s mark.

The good news for Scheffler? He can start right away. He’s in the field this week at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn.
