Putter gear-heads, rejoice! The latest putter release from Odyssey, the Tri-Hot Black S2S family, is now available for pre-order from Fairway Jockey.
There are six putter models to choose from in the latest drop, all of which feature Odyssey’s S2S (Square to Square) Tri-Hot multi-material construction. Those materials — aluminum, steel and over 140 grams of tungsten — allowed Odyssey’s designers to put more than 80 percent of the putter’s weight under the topline, pushing the hosel and CG forward and eliminating shaft lean by positioning the shaft closer to the face than other “zero torque” putters.
The six models also include Odyssey’s most advanced insert ever, a two-layer urethane design created using AI, and which features a soft outer layer and firm inner layer to deliver consistent ball speed across the face and improved forward roll.
Another design feature? The putter’s grooves. “F.R.D” — Forward Roll Design — made grooves deeper and more aggressive, with a 19° slope to improve forward roll up and down the face.
Tour feedback led to the development of a heavier and stiffer shaft, as well as a mid-sized pistol grip to optimize feel and putter-head position throughout the stroke.
