This week the game’s best are on Long Island for the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, and the two top-ranked stars lead the betting favorites. Here is everything you need to know about the U.S. Open odds and other betting favorites to start the week.

U.S. Open betting favorites

In the past few years, there hasn’t been much variation at major championships in terms of betting favorites. This week’s U.S. Open is no different, with the World No. 1 and World No. 2 taking the top two positions in the early odds.

Scottie Scheffler leads the way with +550 odds-to-win. He’s used to being in this position. Scheffler was the favorite at the Masters and the PGA, but he failed to win either, finishing second and T14, respectively. He does, however, have four major championship titles to his name, but none of them are the U.S. Open.

Adding extra intrigue? If Scheffler does win this week, he’ll complete the career Grand Slam.

Rory McIlroy follows Scheffler, coming into the week with +1100 odds-to-win. McIlroy, of course, won the Masters in April, then he finished T7 at the PGA Championship.

Just behind McIlroy is the first LIV Golf player on the odds list: Jon Rahm, (+1200). Rahm finished T2 at the PGA last month, which was his best major result since 2023.

Closing out the top 5 in pre-U.S. Open betting odds are Cameron Young (+1800), Tommy Fleetwood (+2000) and Xander Schauffele (+2000).
