Srixon’s Z-Star golf balls make for interesting test | Fully Fit 2026 Ep. 6

After more than a week of fittings, we finally arrived at our last stop on our golf equipment Tour de Force with Cleveland/Srixon at the Navy Golf Course in Cypress, Calif.

Our six hitters have learned a lot about their bags and their games, but there was still lots to be learned with Srixon balls and irons and Cleveland wedges.

Johnny Wunder thought he was set on a golf ball until he started hitting the Srixon Z-Star Diamond ball.

Jake, meanwhile, also found a fit with a Srixon ball, but the firmer Z-Star XV, something he was surprised by.

Wadeh was looking at the top end of his iron set, already coming in playing the company’s ZXi5 and ZXi7 models. Now he’s looking to replace that 4-iron slot with a ZXiU utility iron instead to get an easier launch and higher flight. He already had a ZXiU 2-iron and now the 4-iron allows him to potentially have Srixon’s V.T. sole throughout the bag.

Maddi is also looking at the company’s ZXi5 and ZXiR while continuing to work through different shafts and weights, ultimately settling on 90 g steel shafts, the heaviest options she tried all week.

I got to experience all the different options for Cleveland’s RTZ wedges, which have a super soft feel with new Z-Alloy, but the company has yet to release a new wedge since the return of legendary founder Roger Cleveland.

Meanwhile, Sean finished up his indoctrination to the gear world, working through another iron set, revealing that he definitely came in with the wrong irons. Now which ones end up in his bag?
